Protective Collection

Protective Footwear = certified to at least AS 2210.3:2019 SB

All styles in our Munka protective range have protective toes with the added feature on an anti- slip outsole.

In Australian and European standards (EN ISO 20345:2021) safety footwear is required to have a toe cap that can withstand and provide protection against a 200 joules and a compression of 15 kilonewtons.  This corresponds approximately to a weight of 20 kilograms falling from a height of 1 meter and a compression weight of 1.5 tonnes. Our Munka protective range utilises steel, composite, alloy & nano carbon protective toe caps.

All our protective footwear is certified to either SRA or SRC slip resistance. SRA means slip resistance has been tested in ceramic + detergent environments, whereas SRC has been tested  in both ceramic+detergent and steel+glycerin environments.
